Why should you use scripts when talking to prospects? When I say use a script, you’re probably not too happy, and I understand that.

First, what is a script? It’s essentially a structured dialogue — a way to take the conversation from A to B. It’s not just about what you say; it’s also about asking questions to discover what the prospect wants and needs. These questions should be simple, logical questions so you can read them verbatim.

If you can internalize the script and communicate effectively, then the prospect will respond emotionally and truthfully. What you need to do now is listen to them for opportunities to help. That’s the golden opportunity to set an appointment and create a client for life. That’s what scripts are all about.
